At Set Cinema, a group that previously made headlines for hosting movie shows at the locations where they were filmed, announced a mega event. The Dark Knight Show in Chicago later this year. It is set to premiere Saturday, December 10, at the Chicago Center for Architecture, the filming location of Bruce Wayne’s Penthouse as well as the film’s Harvey Dent Fundraiser Party. The event begins at 7 p.m. in December and the movie begins at 8 p.m. with tickets up to $50. Could you Choose for yourself here.
On their official website, they wrote: “I will show the exact movie where the Joker (Heath Ledger) and his sons do a fundraiser for Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) and confront Batman (Christian Bale) in a fight, then the Joker pushes Rachel (Maggie Gyllenhaal) out the window! This is one of the The most captivating scene in the entire Dark Knight trilogy.The building in which this scene was shot is located in downtown Chicago on Wacker Dr and has since been converted into the Chicago Center of Architecture.The scene was actually filmed on the first floor of the building – the production used green screens to fill Gotham’s Skyline digitally in post-production. There will be free drinks, free popcorn, and a tour of the scene at the set. Fans are encouraged to dress up or dress up just like in the movie.”
